1. Data controller
Access Europe Ltd, registered in Gibraltar, acts as the data controller for personal data collected on this website and as data processor for content you submit through our production workflows. You can reach us at privacy@accesseurope.eu.
2. What we collect
- Identification: name, email, company, role.
- Project content: documents, terminology and reference material you provide.
- Billing: company address, VAT number, payment references (we do not store card numbers).
- Technical: IP address, browser, language preference, cookies essential to operate the site.
3. Why we process it
- To deliver the translation, localisation, AI and SaaS services you request (contract).
- To issue quotes, invoices and meet our accounting obligations (legal obligation).
- To send service updates and, with your consent, occasional marketing communications (consent).
- To secure our platform and detect abuse (legitimate interest).
4. Hosting & sub-processors
Our production infrastructure is hosted in the European Economic Area. We rely on a short list of vetted sub-processors (cloud hosting, email delivery, accounting). The current list is available on request and is reviewed at least annually.
5. Retention
- Active project files: retained for the duration of the contract.
- Invoices and accounting records: 7 years, per applicable law.
- Marketing leads: 24 months after the last interaction unless you object earlier.
- Audit and security logs: 24 months.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority (GRA), our supervisory authority.
7. International transfers
Gibraltar benefits from an EU adequacy decision. Where data must transit through a third country, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards as defined by the GDPR.
